Europe - 1,672 wars
Asia - 840 wars
The Americas - 476 wars
Africa - 248 wars
This is very sad. :(
People die from wars.The soldiers get hurt.Their families get taken away from their families to be held captive, just because they hate the other country.I know this because some of my family members were in a war and they got separated from their families.this happened a long time ago.

Comment: War is bad for your health. The reason why this is such a big problem is war affects people like children who not even involved in the war. War can make a lot of smoke and damage people’s lungs. War can pollute the war so people can not drink it any longer. I need people to try to get attention for these things. This is important because war not only affects the people fighting and dying. If affect the environment and people’s air and water. War is helping to destroy the Earth environment.

Comment: I agree with Allysa, because war can separate families and make people hate each other. Also, in the Revolutionary War, families got separated because some of them were Patriots and others were Loyalists.

Comment: War affects everyone around the world kids,adults, even other countries who get stuff from there, countless lives are lost for no reason. For example in the Mexican Civil War a major drug dealer of over 22+ countries was arrested, he commanded his followers to kill innocent people as a punishment. Now farmers are too scared to go to their farms and harvest making supplies low on limes/lemons, ones who do go to their farms are getting killed, and people are trying to get drugs are going mad and people are starving because they cannot go outside safely. All in all bad can affect everyone and hurt them in so many ways it used to be just soldier on soldier now innocent people are getting killed for a piece of land.

Comment: I agree with Alyssa R. I agree with you because war is a big problem today because it is a true fact that family who sacrifice their lives to help their country. This war problem can leave soldiers homeless and begging for money on the streets. I read an article about a soldier named Army Sergeant Ryan Kahlor was walking billboarded. He was injured during war. This is a great example of how war is not the answer and there is a different solution but others think it is easier sending people to war.

Comment:I agree with Justin H. because he says war affects people's health. I know that chemical like mustard gas used in the war can be extremely bad for a persons health. Mustard gas in particular has the ability to form large blisters on exposed skin and in lungs. I also agree with the fact that war is destroying the environment. They used bombs like the plutonium bomb in the war and they polluted the air badly and devastated the landscape. It is bad that many people die in wars and it makes many people sad I agree with that to.

Comment: Today I’m going to talk to you about stopping wars. The reason why this is such a big problem people are dieing from these harsh wars and after the wars their town is destroyed. On www.waterforsouthsudan.org it told about the war at South Sudan and how it affected things there. In the text it said, “Without safe water, millions of South Sudanese must trek miles every day to collect water from ponds, marshes, ditches or hand-dug wells. This water is often contaminated with parasites and disease-bearing bacteria. The results are sickness, even death.”. Everyone there had to suffer because of a war. Just one! That’s ridiculous! All in all we need to stop wars.

Comment: I think that there is to many wars breaking out. Children are being influenced by these war breakouts and especially children in Sudan see how it is done. They might try it on their friends and get in big trouble. Young adults will get hurt because they don’t want to get involved in what is happening so it is very bad.

Comment: I do not agree with all of the violence in war and have came up with a solution for it. The two cities/countries should settle out whatever they are fighting for in a peaceful way. Like a debate. There have been over 400 wars in america and over 200 wars in africa. This also influences children to do bad things. Its a chain reaction, so stop fighting over which country gets/wins what, and become peaceful!
